The Play button is the triangle figure in the upper
left-hand side of the
Real Player. This allows the user to start or restart the video
after it has been paused or stopped.
PAUSE:
Next to the Play button is the Pause button which looks like two vertical
lines. This button only works on 'archived video' and pauses the
video at the point you at.
STOP:
Next to the Pause button is the "Stop" button. This looks
like a sold rectangle. This stops the live or archived video.
SLIDE BAR: The Slide Bar allows the view to fast forward to a particular point in the
video. The Slide Bar can only be used for archived video.
VOLUME: The Volume Control allows you to adjust the volume separate from your computer volume control. The Volume Control is located in the lower right section of the Real Player.
COMPACT MODE: The Compact Mode allows you to remove the "Content Panel" area and all other accessories and only view the 'Video" and necessary buttons. The Compact Mode button looks like two squares on top of each other and is located right of the Slide Bar. Please use for the lectures only COMPACT MODE
